Job Role
An International manufacturing company requires an Electrical Engineer with 6 years of experience in managing industrial electrical projects. Responsible for handling Project execution of Electric/Pneumatic system and Retrofit & After Market projects for GTS (Gas Turbine/Compressor, Air Filtration & Air Inlet projects), in-line with customer specifications and review the technical/engineering requirements and also provide support during site installation activities of OEM/Retrofit projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinating and Liasing with Sales, Engineering, Project management, Design & Purchase Department and QA/QC Department.
  • Working closely together with the Application & Product Engineering team for reviewing applicable electrical and pneumatic specifications during the quotation phase, in close cooperation with the Application Engineering team
  • Providing Electrical Engineering expertise to the Product Development team during new product development activities and taking ownership of related Electrical Engineering task
  • Providing support during site installation activities of OEM / Retrofit projects.
Qualification, Skills & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree or Relevent - specialised in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial electrical design
  • Experience in process instrumentation control systems
  • Able to perform electrical calculations to support design methodology
  • Understanding of circuit coordination as well as available fault current and short circuit ratings
  • Understanding of lighting requirements, simulations, and studies
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Environment electrical system design as per NEC, IECex standards, and ATEX directive
  • Knowledge of NEMA and IP ingress protection methods and application
  • Experience in Oil & Gas, construction and/or manufacturing industry is a major plus
  • Ideal candidate should have good communication and project management skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Strong pro-active approach, result driven, ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel (Site visit)
  • Holding valid UAE Driving license (Advantage)
